(We cannot waste time in) Contemplation

When I propose a constructed theory of the nature of a thing, I am proposing a distrust of my constructed theory of the thing. Theory tells us that we are merely mortal. Theory not only wants us to believe that we are primarily finite, living bodies, but also demands that we demonstrate this belief. I propose theories out of distrust of myself; distrust in the evidence of my own reason. This is me demonstrating that I live, and am alive.
